It has been a busy and exciting term for learners attending Bromley Adult Education College’s 19+ SEND provision, with plenty of opportunities to develop skills, build confidence and celebrate achievements.
The term concluded with two fantastic end-of-year productions from the Music and the Dance & Drama groups. Learners worked hard throughout the term rehearsing for their variety performances, showcasing their talents and creativity in front of family, friends and staff at the Poverest Centre.
The Baking Bliss group has also been putting their skills to the test, creating a delicious range of cakes and sweet treats to serve at the end-of-term high tea. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for learners and staff to come together and celebrate another successful year.
Learning has extended well beyond the classroom too, with learners enjoying a range of educational visits to local galleries and gardens, bringing classroom topics to life through hands-on experiences.
Meanwhile, learners in the craft classes have been busy creating an impressive collection of handmade projects, including mosaics, windmills and decorative ducks – each with its own unique name and personality! Using both hand and machine sewing techniques, learners have demonstrated creativity, patience and craftsmanship throughout the term.
